I will also answer them on an exhibit
by exhibit basis.
EXHIBIT A
The actual acreage of the property owned is 6.3 acres. The additional
.9 acres, is the acreage for the proposed Right-of-way which Mr.
Carestia is in the process of obtaining. You requested that I
include it in the application so it would not cause an amendment
to the application, only a technical revision. If this is not
correct, I will make any changes which are necessary.
EXHIBIT B
1.) The anticipated timetable would be to begin the mining as soon
as the Land Reclamation permit is granted. Strip mining, along with
the crushing and screening of the gravel will continue for approximately
15 to 20 years or until depelition which ever comes first.
2.) The material underlying the sand and gravel is a layer of weathered
shale. In the area previously mined., the shale formation can be found
on both the east and west portions of the property.
3.) Concerning items 1 and 4 in your letter these requirements should
not provide any problems concerning compliance with them.
EXHIBIT C
There is an existing road into the property, (as shown on Exhibit C)
which is being used as an access into this property. Mr. Carestia
is in the process of obtaining a permanent access into his property
as depicted by the solid line on Exhibit C.
