(STELE ROSE ONE, Inc.) <br />110{2} Limited Impact Operations <br />Mine (M-2006-31) <br />Exhibit C- Minin>r Plan <br />6.3.3(1) <br />a) Mining is expected to commence and end April 15`, 2007 through March 31, 2008 <br />or upon approval from CO. State (weather permitting). <br />b) Topsoil will be removed to a depth of at least 6 inches and shall be stockpiled <br />sepazately on site. Topsoil pile shall seeded with native species listed in the <br />Forest Service approved seed mix and monitored for erosion. See Exhibit E for <br />proposed location. <br />e) Overburden waste rock ranges from 1 to 15 feet. See Exhibit E for proposed <br />location of overburden stockpiles. <br />d) Thickness of deposit to be mined is 33 feet. <br />e) FS Koad Z36 passes within 300 feet of the N W corner of the proposed permitted <br />area. There is an existing pit measuring approximately 170 feet by 30 feet by 18 <br />feet deep, also 150 feet of access road. There are two piles of mixed ore; <br />overburden, and topsoil in the proposed permitted area. See Exhibit E for <br />locations. There will be no structures, processing facilities; or underground <br />openings in The proposed permitted area. Ore extraction will be from the existing <br />pit and piles. <br />We propose to classify the existing piles of mixed material into marketable orc, <br />overburden, and topsoil. We propose to expand the existing pit to 350 feet by 60 <br />feet by 32 feet deep. This is an excavation only operation in an existing pit. <br />13ackfitling shall occur as soon as ore is extracted leavuig only one pit open at a <br />time. The pit and piles shall be flagged with caution tape. <br />W"ork crew will include a maximum of 8 and they will be working for no more <br />than 10 days per month for a total of 120 days per year. Hours of digging will <br />range from lam till dusk for no more than 5 hours per day. No toxic or <br />hazardous material shall be used or stored on site, except such fuels, oils, <br />antifreezes, and lubricants actually contained in vehicles and mining equipment at <br />the site. For human waste we shall use catholes and -'leave no trace 'guidelines. <br />See approved FS P.O.O. <br />If a reportable quantity of toxic or hazardous material is released, The Steel Rase <br />1, Inc. shall notify the Division of Minerals and Geology within riventy four hours <br />of the spill being reported to any other agency with.jurisdiction, such as the <br />National Response Center.
