Geologic description <br />Bedrock of the subject property is Pierre Shale. It is covered <br />by up to 45 feet of Valley-fill materials which form the flood- <br />plain of the Cache La Poudre River. <br />13. Describe existing land use, <br />soil, vegetation, ground water and surface water char- <br />acteristics, average annual rainfall and/or other factors <br />pertaining to environmental impacts and their mitigation <br />and reclamation. <br />This land is part of the Cache La Poudre floodplain. Historically <br />this land has been used for irrigated crop cultivation and <br />pasture land.
