<br /> <br />Exhibit C -Mining Pitrn continued <br />Surface or Groundwater Disturbance; <br />No groundwater is anticipated at the site. Only incident precipitation should impact the site as <br />surface water. <br />J. Compliance with Colorado Water Law; <br />There is no impact to adjoining or downstream users as the site is a "dry site". <br />K. Acidic and Toxic Materials; <br />No acidic or toxic materials are to be used or stored on the site. Bulk liquids associated with <br />equiptment refueling and asphalt production will have temporary earthen berms installed <br />surrounding the containers while stored on-site. The berms will be constructed to control any <br />accidental spillage. <br />L. Hydrologic Balance /Water Damage; <br />The site will not adversely impact the hydrologic balance. Incident precipitation and runoff will <br />be controlled onsite through the use of berms. The mine will be operated as a "No Discharge" <br />facility. <br />N1. Processing of Mined Materials; <br />Crushing, Screening and asphalt production are anticipated processing activities. All processing <br />equipment wiff be conducted by portable equipment with separate permitting as required by law. <br />N. Secondary Commodities to be Mined; <br />Mancos Shale substrate - (soil /clay) this material lies beneath the gravel zone. <br />O. Incidental Products; <br />N/A <br />
