Section 816.11 (d) Continued. <br />• The perimeter of the permit area will be clearly marked with orange <br />lath, orange fence posts or other visible markings before the <br />beginning of surface mining activities. <br />(e) Buffer zone markers. Buffer zones shall be marked along their <br />boundaries as required under Section 816.57. <br />Energy Euels will place buffer zone markers along the buffer zone <br />boundaries as required under Section 816.57. Buffer zones are <br />identified on the Eckman Park Mine Plan (Map 2) and Energy Mines <br />No. 1 & 2 Mine Plan (Map 1). <br />(f) Blasting signs. If blasting is conducted incident to surface <br />mining activities, the person who conducts these activities shall: <br />(1) Conspicuously display signs reading 'Blasting Area' along the edge <br />of any blasting area that comes within 50 feet of any road within the <br />. permit area, or within 100 feet of any public road right of way. <br />(2) Conspicuously flag, or post within the blasting area, the immediate <br />vicinity of charged holes as required by Section 816.66(e). <br />(3) Place at all entrances to the permit area from public roads or <br />highways conspicuous signs which state 'Warning! Explosives in Use', <br />which clearly explain the blast warning and all clear signals that are <br />in use and which explain the marking of blast areas and charged holes <br />within the permit area. <br />Energy Fuels conspicuously displays signs reading 'Blasting Area' <br />along the edge of any blasting area that comes within 50 feet of <br />any road within the permit area or within 100 feet of any public <br />road right of way.
