<br />2nd Adequacy Issues 2 March 10, 7 999 <br />Delta Paving Gravel Pit File No. M-98.705 <br />Fish and Wildlife Service, dated 3!8/99, indicating that the applicant is cooperating with <br />wildlife agencies to enhance habitat and benefit wildlife, as encouraged by Rule 3.1.8(2). <br />However, additional information is required by Rule 6.4.8(1). <br />(a- Pursuant to Rule 6.4.8(1)(a), please provide additional information, describing <br />the significant wildlife resources, including game and non-game resources, on and in the <br />vicinity of the application area. <br />(b) Pursuant to Rule 6.4.8(1-(b1, please describe the seasonal use of the area by <br />wildlife. <br />(c) Pursuant to Rule 6.4.8(11(c), please describe the presence and estimated <br />population of threatened or endangered species from either federal or state lists. <br />Id) Pursuant to Rule 6.4.8(1)(d), please describe the general effect during and <br />after the proposed operation on the existing wildlife of the area, including but not limited to <br />temporary and permanent loss of food and habitat, interference with migratory routes, and <br />the general effect on the wildlife from increased human activity, including noise. <br />Please contact me at the DMG Durango Office, 484 Turner Drive, Building F, Suite 101, <br />Durango, CO 81301, phone (970) 247-5469, FAX (970) 247-5104, if you have any <br />questions or require additional information. <br />Sincerely, <br />~~~-~~ <br />Wallace H.
