Future expansion to the west <br />is possible. <br />A sedimentation pond is located directly <br />northwest of the pit- The pond is designed <br />for containment of a 10-year, 24-hour <br />precipitation event. <br />Discharge will consist solely of groundwater and <br />storm runoff. No process water is used at the <br />site. Drainage upslope of the pit will be <br />diverted around the pond. <br />• <br />
