[NMPM]. It is our understanding that the present bond being held is
$7,000.00. We have done an updated calculation based upon data supplied recently by Colorado
Quarries, and our new calculation indicates that the bond amount should be at least $10, 527.00.
Byway of this letter, I am requesting that the Mined Land Reclamation Board raise the required
bond by at least that amount. We understand that CDMG will add a further amount to this bond
of approximately 22%.
I am attaching the Reclamation Bond Evaluation Worksheet prepazed by our geologist, Chazles
Fair. This details the calculations and reasoning behind the figure quoted above. If you have
questions, call Mr. Fair at 719) 269-8533.
Sincerely, /
~~ /~~~~
Roy 1G.
