The Division of Wildlife and the Division of Mined Land <br />Reclamation require that anew mine impact statement be prepared <br />for all expanded permits. Please provide a current wildlife <br />statement. <br />D. Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan <br />1. Please provide a letter from the landowner indicating that he <br />wishes to plant alfalfa and brome as described. I can find no <br />reference to this in the lease. <br />2. How will the operator control weeds? <br />3. All topsoil to be stockpiled for greater than 1 growing season <br />must have a grass cover crop planted to aid in protecting the soil <br />from wind and water erosion. <br />4. How will the operator protect the final revegetation from <br />grazing until the plants are established? <br />5. Does the landowner want the operator to leave the perforated <br />drainage pipe in place upon completion of reclamation? <br />6. What will be the direction of drainage upon completion of <br />reclamation activities? <br />E. Public Notification <br />1.
