Rindahl
Rindahl and Associates
2305 South Syracuse Way
Suite 217
Denver, Colorado 80231
Re: Terraoo~~C."o~~ns~truction,
Dear ~+~ ~'
Inc. - "Vollmer Pit" - File No. 83-35
I received your response to my letter of April 20, 1983, on April 26, 1983.
Upon reviewing this response the following day, I still had some minor
matters of clarification. However, I considered all the major outstanding
questions to have been answered and therefore recommeded that the Board
approve the 112 permit application for the Vollmer Pit with the amount
of the financial warranty set at $19,960.00. The Board moved to do
• so, yesterday.
I will now mention my remaining questions and hope that one final, brief
letter from you will clear them up. One matter may be somewhat difficult,
considering that the Board has already approved the application and set
bond, but it should not delay permit issuance.
As a final point of clarification, I assume that your contention is that
the permeable nature of the soils will preclude the need for a sediment
control berm. I+ly review of the data on the soils indicates that this is
most probably true. If erosion down into the drainage Swale begins to
occur, however, it is assumed that control will be instituted.
Please clarify the situation concerning the higher cost/acre far minor
disturbance vs. moderate disturbance. This may eventually modify the
amount of the financial warranty somewhat, necessitating a rider to the
bond document.
Sincerely,
v / 1',~J,>GJ~
Mark S.
