_~_
\fay 22,2007
mined and/ot reclaimed in the 92 acre Phase 1 Area, 57 acres have
been already disturbed.
The inclusion of the 111 Areas will allow Fremont Paving access
to the REJECT' PILE, simplify current and possible future DRM&S
pexmitdng processes and fulfill the land owners desire to either remove or
reclaim the REJECT PILE which is pazt of the M-1997-042 reclamation
bond. The REJECT PILE will be processed out and reduced as part of the
Phase 1 activities and operations.
An additiona110 acres of requited reclamation has been estimated by
the DRM&S for the reclamation to be complete in the Huskin 111
areas. It is assumed by the applicant that the portion of the bond covering
the REJECT PILE would be released once the pile has been remaved, sold
and/or re-graded to the satisfaction of the DRM&S.
This 10 acres will be added to the proposed 15 acres total disturbance..."At
Any One Time" to give a total initial disturbed area bond calculation for
reclamation of 25 acres. Only 10-acres or less (including Phase Area
Spur Roads) will be disturbed at arty one time in the subsequent Phase
Areas #s 2-7. Reclamation will generally 6e concurrent with continued
mining and processing operations. The limited (max 10 acres)
disturbance area during the excavation operations at the site will provide
enough room foz any site excavation/reclamation, process operations
and material stockpiling as the excavation front moves across and through
each of Phase Area #s 2-7.
The total disturbed azea at the site will be " 15 acres of less at any one
time" total would include the 5 -Acre Operations Atea and a maximum
of 10 acros disturbance in any active # 2- 7 Phase Area including spur roads.
II - D Screening and crushing activities may cake place in the "10 acres at a time
disturbed azea" in an active Phase Axea and/or in the 5 -Acre Operations
Area. Stockpiling crushing and asphalt production will occur in the 5 -Acre
Operation Area.
III -A As already stated above: The total disturbed area at the site wiU be " 15 -
acres or less at atry one time° .This total would include the 5 -Acre
Operations Area and a maximum of 10 acres disturbance in any active # 2- 7
Phase Area including spur roads.
III - A As already stated phased reclamaton will occur in maximum 10 acre areas as
excavation progresses across the site and phase areas. The locations for each
10 acre reclamation area and the dtrecdon for concurrent reclamation are to
be determined as raining activity develops the site. It is possible that
smaller discrete (less than 10 acres) areas may undergo concurrent
reclamation as site conditions allow Reclamation will generally be
concurrent with continued mining and processing operations.
