<br />EXHIBIT E - RECLMATION PLAN (continued) <br /> <br />Trail from parking area to picnic area will be a compacted gravel <br />surface five (5) feet in width, and suitable for all weather foot <br />traffic. <br />The picnic area will contain four (4) individual picnic sites 18 <br />feet in length by 24 feet in width with compacted gravel surface <br />suitable for all weather use. Each such site will be equipped <br />with one (1) standard picnic table and charcoal grill. Unsur- <br />faced areas in this :site will be topsoiled, graded, fertilized <br />and seeded according to recommendations of the U.S. Soil Conser- <br />vation Service as contained in Statement 3, Exhibit D, preceding. <br />Tree planting in thi:~ area will be in accordance with recommenda- <br />tions of the Larimer County Forester (with whom initial contact <br />has been made), and the U.S. Soil Conservation Service as con- <br />tained in Statement 3, Exhibit D. <br />The lake will be located and generally configured as shown on the <br />accompanying Reclamation Sketch Plan in this Exhibit. Average <br />depth of the lake wi7.1 be about twenty (20) feet, and slope of <br />its banks will be S:J'_, or gentler, throughout. Topsoiling, ferti- <br />lizing, and seeding z•ecommended by the U.S. Soil Conservation Ser- <br />vice will be carried to the high water line; side slopes of the <br />lake below its high grater Line will be surfaced using the sandy <br />loam overburden removed during extraction operations. Lake will <br />be used for fishing, and will be suitably stocked with fish in <br />accordance with recommendations to be obtained from the Colorado <br />State Division of Wildlife. <br />Grading, topsoiling, fertilizing, and seeding the remainder of the <br />project area will be in accordance with recommendations of the U.S. <br />Soil Conservation Service as contained in Statement 3, Exhibit D. <br />Drainage from reclaimed area will continue to clear the site through <br />appurtenances located in the Southeast corner of the project as they <br />existed prior to commencement of mining operations. <br />
