Lafarge West Inc. (the "Applicant/Opetator") has applied for a Regular (I 12) recktmation
permit from the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board (the "Board") to conduct the extraction of construction materials
operations m EI PaSO _ County. The aztached information is being provided to notify you of the
locauon and nature of the proposed operation. The entire application is on file with the Division of Reclatation, Mining and
Safety (the "Division") and the local county clerk and recorder.
The applicanUoperator proposes to reclaim the affected tend to Rangeland/Developed Water use. Pursuant to
Section 34-32.5-1 I6(4)(m), C.R.S., the Board may confer with the locat Board of County Commissioners before approving of
the post-mining land use. Accordingly, the Board would appreciate your catttments on the proposed operation. Please note that,
m order to preserve your right to a hearing before the Board on this application, you must submit written comments on the
application within twenty (20) days of the date of last publication of notice pursuant to Section 34-32.5-112(10), C.R.S.
