Like <br />the federally listed species, conditions on the site do not indicate that mining will <br />adversely affect any of the noted species. <br />Species Comments <br /> <br />Black-tailed prairie dog No direct effect on existing wildlife. <br /> Lack of suitable habitat and presence of coyotes would deter use of <br />Swift fox <br /> site. <br />Western burrowing owl Species not likely to be impacted by proposed operation. <br />Mountain plover Species not likely to be impacted by proposed operation. <br /> No suitable nesting habitat on property, although species may <br />Ferruginous hawk <br /> forage in winter. <br /> None observed on property, high bullfrog population would deter <br />Northern leopard frog <br /> use of site. <br /> None observed on property, high bullfrog population would deter <br />Plains leopard frog <br /> use of site. <br />Raptors and migratory bird nests were found on the property near Fountain Creek.
