<br /> <br />-z- <br />embankment height of 35 feet was analyzed. Parametric studies of the effect <br />of strength on stability was conducted using angles of internal friction of <br />250, 300, 350, and 420. These results illustrated on Fig. 4 indicate a lower <br />bound Factor of Safety of 1.9 for a 9 angle of 250. Using 0 equal 420 and <br />no cohesion, the Factor of Safety ranged from 3.6 to 3.9 depending upon the <br />analysis method used. <br />Based upon the laboratory and analysis results, it appears the design and <br />construction recommendations provided in our original report (Job No. 5843) <br />will result in a stable structure.
