for passaoe by the Weld County Planning Co-ivission:
Be it Resolved by the Y7eld County Planning Commission that .the
application for site approval of Sand and Gravel Pit covering
the following described property in Weld County, Colorado, to-wit:

be (granted) #k for the following reasons:
1. This request is in oanpliance with the 47e1d County Canprehensive Plan and
the Weld County ISctnction Plan, Mineral Resources, Volume II. The area
under consideration is located in a resource conservation area. The Weld ,
County Extraction Plan states that extraction shall be encouraged in
resource conservation areas :as long as appropriate extraction standards
are followed. ~
2. It is the opinion of the Planning Commission that the gravel operation as
outlined and controlled in the Operations Standards will minimize impacts
on surrounding uses and the area to the greatest extent possible and provide
adequate protection of the health, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of
the area and the County.
3. It is the opinion of the Planning CamLission that this proposed operation is
in ~ipliance with the provision of Section 3.3.E.2. and 6.1.(3.) of the
Weld County Zoning Resolution. Zi
