Monks Plant No. 1
File No. 83-193
gam' '-8-'
Dear ~:
Enclosed please find a copy of a letter to me from E1 Paso County
Planning concerning the zoning status of the site for the above-captioned
operation. It may be that this site is already properly zoned in
relation to the Pioneer Sand CGmpany operation. However, I spoke with El
Paso County some time ago about this matter, and I thought that they were
aware of this situation and were evaluating the site accordingly.
I suggest that you contact El Paso County and resolve this problem. If
the Special Use approval process must be followed as outlined, you will
need to request a continuance for your client until probably the
February, 1984 Board meeting. If not, I will need another letter from El
Paso County that essentially retracts their letter dated November 7, 1983.
Please let me know as soon as you have resolved this matter.
Sincerely,
"//~-
Mark S.
