<br />EXHIBIT C - Map <br />See attached location and site map. <br /> <br />EXHIBIT D - Wildlife, Water resources, Vegetation, and Soils Information <br />Wildlife- <br />No significant amount of wildlife has been encountered at any of the <br />visits to the site. There are no known threatened or endangered species in <br />the area. A copy of this application is being forwarded to the Colorado <br />Division of Wildlife for their review. Their comments will be forwarded upon <br />receipt. <br />Water Resources- <br />This operation is not expected to directly affect either surface or <br />groundwater in the area. Groundwater is not encountered until approximately <br />100 feet below the surface. There are no streams or creeks through this pit. <br />Vegetation- <br />The current site is used for grazing land and is covered with grasses <br />native to the area. <br />Soils Information- <br />The SCS Soils Map defines this soil type as Haxtun loamy sand. This <br />soil is characterized as absorbing water rapidly and having moderate water <br />holding capacity It is listed as good for road fill but a poor source of <br />sand and gravel. It is a soil which can be farmed or used for grassland. <br />
