Bear Coal Company should re-evaluate the condition of the <br />landslide and the retaining structure adjacent to the fan <br />to determine the retaining structure's ability to <br />continue to retain the slope. If re-engineering, repair, <br />or replacement is necessary, plans to do so should be <br />submitted to the Division. <br />• Mitigation: Bear Coal Company has submitted to the <br />Division, a Bear No. 3 portal monitoring plan. The <br />results of the monitoring have been evaluated and are <br />included in Exhibit 21, Bear No. 3 Mine, Portal Access <br />Road and Monitoring Plan. <br />D. Mine Facilities <br />1. Bridge and conveyor footings of concrete remain in the <br />North Fork near Bear No. 1. Complete removal of these <br />structures is addressed in the reclamation plan. What is <br />the timetable far removal of these structures? <br />Mitigation: Bear Coal Company, as of July 22, 1985, has <br />removed the bridge and conveyor footings from the North <br />Fork of the Gunnison River.
