No work is to begin until the "Notice to Proceed" is received from the Department of <br />Transportation, it shall be a condition of award that the contractor make every reasonable effort durimg <br />the course o[ this contract to ma>amize the usage of DBE subcontractors. <br />If contract item 625 and/or 629 were a part of your bid proposal for this project, please provide as referenced <br />in the project specifications, sttrveyors and/or Engineers' Professional Liability insurance for the amount of not <br />less than $250,000 in the aggregate (see attached spec.}. <br />A Preconstruction Conference will be set by the residemt engineer.
