Hespe:
MR!' ~ 919)9 RECD
Z vas informed that the disturbed surface area associated
with the Dorchester tl Coal Mine is now expected to be 85.3
acres. With this three-fold increase in the disturbance area
there will be an increase in the displacement of the resident
wildlife. However, there is adequate adjacent habitat avail-
- able to support the additional animals. There should not be
a serious increase in negative impacts on wildlife due to this
expanded disturbance area. ,
Zf you have nay questions oz further aeeda, feel free to call
on tea.
Sincerely„
J ck vayhing "
w dlife eio ist .
JV:kta
cc: Chuck Grand Pre, Enviro:mental Resources

DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RFSOURC6, Marrfs Sharman, Eaeculiva DIIaCIer • WILDLIFE COMMISSION, Thomas Farley, Chairman
Sam Caudill, Vica Chairman • Roper Clark, SecrNary • Jaan K Tool, Member • Vernon C.
