(7 to 14 <br />inches thick) <br />C 42 to 60 inches; yellowish red (SYRS/6) very cobbly clay grading to <br />cobbly clay loam in the lower part, yellowish red (SYR4/6) moist; <br />• weak coarse subangulaz blocky structure; very hazd, very firm, <br />very sticky and very plastic; common roots; 35 to 50 percent <br />cobble and stones; slightly acid. <br />Type Location: These soils aze located 200 feet south of the center of <br />the NWy of section 18, T.1S., R.92W, in Utah. <br />Range in Chazacteristics: Depth of the mollic epipedon ranges from 16 <br />to 25 inches thick. The B horizon ranges between clay loam, sandy clay <br />loam, or clay and contains 15 to 40 percent cobble and some stones. The <br />B horizon also has some slickenside and pressure face on some ped faces. <br />The C horizon ranges from a cobbly or stony clay or clay loam. <br />Competing Series: Winnemucca soils aze similar to the Castino, <br />Embazgo, and Passaz soils and aze neaz the Clayburn, Irigul, and Nagitsy <br />soils.
