(10YR2/1) moist; moderate very fine crumb structure; soft; friable;
slightly sticky and slightly plastic; heavy mat of roots in surface
inch, many very fine roots below; slightly acid (pH 6.4); cleaz
smooth boundazy. (2 to 6 inches thick.)
A12 5 to 15 inches; very dazk grayish brown (10YR3/2) light clay loam,
very dark brown (10YR2/2) moist; moderate very fine granulaz
structure; soft; very friable; slightly sticky and slightly plastic;
many very fine roots; slightly acid (pH 6.4); clear irregulaz
boundazy. (5 to 10 inches thick.)
B21t 15 to 26 inches; grayish brown 2.SYR5/2) clay, very dazk grayish
brown (10YR3/2) moist; dark gray (10YR4/1) staining on faces of
• peds; weak coazse prismatic structure that sepazates to strong fine
and very fine subangulaz blocks; very hazd; firm, very sticky, very
plastic; common very fine roots mainly on faces of peds, few very
fine roots and fine tubulaz pores in peds; neutral (pHb.b); gradual
irregulaz boundazy. (8 to 15 inches thick.)
B22t 26 to 32 inches; olive gray (SYR5/2) clay, very dazk grayish brown
(2.SYR3/2) moist; dark gray staining on faces of prisms; moderate
coazse prismatic structure that sepazate to moderate fine and
medium subangulaz blocks; very hazd; firm; very sticky, very
plastic; few very fine roots through blocks and many very fine
roots on prism faces; midly alkaline (pH 7.5); cleaz wavy boundary.
(4 to 8 inches thick.)
Clca 32 to 50 inches; gray (SYR5/1) light clay, dazk gray (SYR4/1)
moist; weak corase prismatic structure; hard; friable; sticky and
plastic; few very fine roots and fine tubulaz pores; strongly
