The mining method will generally <br />consist of open stoping with random pillars left in barren <br />material where possible. The ore will be trucked to the <br />Union Carbide mill at Uravan for processing. Waste and <br />mineralized material will be deposited on dumps near the <br />mine portals. For the most part, existing dumps will be <br />utilized, thus keeping added disturbance to a minimum. <br />Ventilation raises and bore holes will be required when <br />concentration and configuration of the ore dictate. Near- <br />surface deposits will be mined by open pit methods; however, <br />this type of work will constitute a minor portion of the <br />anticipated mining activity at the Monogram operations. <br />B-2 <br />
