Please estimhte the <br />maximum volume of material that would be stockpiled or piled as tads during <br />each phase of your operation. <br />Exhibit E <br />7. What is the estimated volume of topsoil that will be salvaged? What is <br />the maximum depth that can be salvaged? Will deeper pockets (scale areas) of <br />topsoil be salvaged or spoiled? <br />8. Concerning historic mining as a future land use, is this area designated <br />or zoned by Park County as Historic Mining or Historic Preservatio ? If not, <br />I recommend that the proposed future land use be solely wildlife hpbitat. <br />9. Concerning the previously disturbed area, Phase I, and Area A, what will ~~ yy <br />be the proposed final grades in these areas? Will soil amendments be used? - ~1i~i'A'" <br />Concerning vegetation test plots at the Combination, were soil amendments used <br />or fertilizer applied? <br />10. Concerning Area A, what will be the final reclaimed slopes of this <br />tailings pile? Will drainage control need to be implemented to mihimize <br />erosion for final reclamation? <br />11. It is stated that all water impoundments will be removed. Rods, <br />facilities, pipelines, trash, and old equipment are not mentioned.! Please <br />address the removal and associated reclamation of these items. <br />12. It is noted that Native Pines are mapped on one of your maps. Is it <br />feasible to plant trees in the areas where little or no topsoil wi 1 be <br />replaced? <br />Exhibit F <br />13. Please submit a map indicating final reclaimed contours, road which may <br />be left, reconstructed drainages, etc. <br />Exhibit G <br />14. Again, if discharge occurs from our lower sediment pond, an NODES Permit <br />may be required.
