The permit is well organized. However, the following htems still <br />need to be addressed. Please adequately respond to each item speciifically. <br />Exhibit A <br />1. The legal description should include the entire area to be per'itted and <br />should include a description of the permit boundaries and the total acreage. <br />I recommend that the total acreage to be included in the permit ar a be <br />included in the legal description. This description will later be~needed for <br />performance and financial warranty requirements. <br />Exhibit C <br />2. Please accurately depict the permit boundaries on this map. All <br />structures, ponds, roads, and stockpiles including topsoil must be included in <br />the permit boundaries. Existing roads and ponds do not need to bewithin <br />permit boundaries. <br />3. Please locate all proposed waste piles, tailings areas, facilities, and <br />equipment for each phase. <br />Exhibit D <br />4. Wiil discharge occur from the operating sediment pond? If so, an NPDES <br />permit is required. Please contact the Colorado Department of Health. Also, <br />what is the design and capacity of the various ponds. Submit inf rmation as <br />to the construction of these ponds, i.e. cross sections. <br />5. Where will the temporary tailings piles be located?
