(vi) Shrub/Tree Establishment Shmb or tree establishment will not be attempted on the areas to be revegetated. The area is grazed by livestock, and shrub or tree establishment is not considered viable. • (d) Remaini~ Features No ponds, streams, structures or other facilities will remain after reclamation. Pre-existing roads used by the ranch operation will remain. (e) Other Features Sediment control features including ditches, berms, and settling azeas will remain if they aze needed, These sediment control features are anticipated to occupy a small portion of the affected area. (2) Estimate of Reclamation Costs As described above, available portions of the pit floor will be reclaimed as mining progresses. However, should no reclamation be done until the pit has been mined out, the costs of reclaiming the entire affected area, ten acres-not just the pit floor, have been estimated here. The cost of removing plant growth medium prior to disturbance is accommodated within the costs of mining. The costs of spreading plant growth medium, seeding, and hydromulching have been estimated using a contractor from the Colorado Springs azea.
