Mr. Dick Hines
Exhibit E
-2-
April 1, 1986
1. Please discuss your planned use of topsoil in more detail. If the
topsoil is quite scarce (exact amounts available are not clear from
our narrative), you may wish to use it in pockets, leaving some other
areas for rock outcrops, water collection depressions, etc. Some
percentage of the area could then be top soiled to a depth which would
offer better rooting depth for plants. You may wish to consult with
BLM personnel about an acceptable plan for topsoil/overburden
placement. In any case, depth of topsoil and location of its placement
should be specified more closely.
~2. How is overland flow to be handled on the benches? Will they drain
// \\ laterally?
~3. Are the 15'-long backslopes of the benches to be revegetated?
Exhibit G
1. Please demonstrate that your free use permit from the BLM has actually
been issued. Any special conditions mandated by the BLM in that permit
should be incorporated as a part of your mining and reclamation permit.
Exhibit H
( / 1. Enclosed please find a blank copy of our performance warranty form.
/X\ Please execute this form and return it to us. This will expedite this
issuance of the permit for this operation.
Please call me if you have any questions concerning this letter.
Sincerely,
V/ /~"
tdark S.
