3.0 LAND OWNERSHIP
Third Park has a fairly simple division of land ownership. The majority of land is owned by the
United States, which is of primary interest in this exploration license application. The boundary
between federal and private land is outlined in Figure 2-1.
Map 1 in the pocket illustrates the boundaries of private land owners within Third Park. The
owners of both the minerals and the surface are shown for each property. These include fifteen
surface owners and eighteen mineral owners, some of whom have ownership of more than one
property.
