4.02 SIGNS AND MARKERS <br />• <br />4.02.1 Specifications <br />Following permit approval, Mt. Harris Coal Company will post and <br />maintain all signs and markers required by this section. All cf the <br />signs will be of a uniform design and will be easily seen or read. The <br />signs will be made either of metal or wood. They will be durable enough <br />to withstand any climatic conditions that might be inherent at the <br />operations. The signs will conform with all local ordinances and codes. <br />4.02.2 Mine and Permit Identification Signs <br />Following permit approval, appropriate signs identifying the permit area <br />will be displayed at points of access to the permit area from State <br />Highway 40. These signs will indicate the name, business address, and <br />telephone number of the Mt. Harris Coal Company and identification <br />• numbers of operation and reclamation permits. All signs will be <br />retained until after the release of ail bonds for the permit area. <br />4.02.3 Perimeter Markers <br />Following permit approval, the perimeter of the permit area will be <br />clearly marked with visible markings. The perimeter of the permit area <br />will be clearly marked in the field. <br />4.02.4 Duration of Maintenance <br />The Mt. Harris Coal Company will maintain signs and markers throughout <br />the life of the operation or post new signs and markers as necessary. <br />4.02.5 Stream Buffer Zone Markers <br />The permit boundary of the Mt. Harris Coal Company will be greater than <br />• 100 feet from the Yampa River; therefore, no stream buffer zone signs <br />will be necessary. <br />4.02-1 <br />
