GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />1. Reorrsenfative Semolina <br />Samples and measurements takes as required heroin shall be representative of the volume sad aaturo of the monitored <br />discharge. All samples shall be taken at the monitoring points specified in this permit sad, unless otherwise specified, <br />before the effluent joins or is diluted by any other wasfrstmm, body of water, or tatbstaace. Monitoring points shall <br />not be changed without notification to sad approval by the Division <br />2. Analytical and Semolina Methods for Mortitorina <br />The permittx shall install, calibrate, use sad maintain monitoring methods sad equipment, including biological and <br />indicated pollutant monitoring methods. Analytical and sampling methods utilized by the disclurger shall be approved <br />methods as defined by Colorado Regulations for Effluent Limitations (5 CCR 1002-3, 10.1.5), and federal regulations <br />(40 CFR 136) and say other applicable State or Federal regulations. The amlytical method selected for a parameter <br />shall be the one that ran measure the lowest detected limit for that parameter unless the permit limitation or <br />stream standard for those parsrneters is within the testing range of another approved method. When requested in <br />writing, the Watu Quality Control Division may approve an alternative analytical procedure or any significant <br />modification to an approved procedure. <br />When the most sensitive analytical method which complies with this part, has a detection limit greater than or equal to <br />the permit limit, the pecmittee shall report 'less than (the detectable limit),' es appropriate. Such reports shall sot be <br />considered as violations of the permit limit. <br />• <br />
