There were six (6)
stipulations attached to this technical revision. Wyoming Fuel
Company (WFC) is now in the position where the existing pile must
be expanded. As a result, WFC is providing .you with responses to
the stipulations. I realize you were not involved in permitting
this pro,Ject, therefore I have provided you with some background
in response to each of the stipulations.
Stipulation 1 required WFC to provide additional reclamation
bonding in the sum of $23,772.72. This bond was effective
September 27, 1987.
By letter of April 14, 1988 to Jlm Stevens, WFC found it
necessary to construct two degasification holes. On April 28,
1988, field approval was given to construct an additional hole.
Rather than providing additional bonding for these holes it was
agreed by the Division and WFC to utilize part of the Ciruela
Canyon coal processing waste pile bond for the degasification
holes.
The reclamation cost for the degasification holes was
estimated at $10,936.50.
Wyoming Fuel Company is now Sn the process of amending the
current Golden Eagle bond .by $10,936.50. This amended bond
. should be in your office by Friday, September 2.
