2-35 <br />• 2.5 TOPSOIL MANAGEMENT PROGRAM <br />Topsoil will be removed in accordance with Section 2.4.2 (Topsoil <br />Removal and Handling) of the original Munger Canyon Permit (C-020- <br />81), for any proposed disturbance shown on Figure 2.2-is. The <br />removal of topsoil will be based on the availability of suitable <br />material as discussed in Sections 2.5.1 and 4.4 that follow. <br />Topsoil will also be stockpiled in accordance with the approved <br />plans contained in the original Munger Canyon Mine Permit (C-020- <br />81). <br />2.5.1 Topsoil Availability <br />The availability of topsoil materials associated with disturbances <br />• within the revised permit area is described in detail in Section <br />4.4. figure 4.4-2s has been prepared to show topsoil depths of <br />the revised permit area. <br />2.5.2 Topsoil Stockpile Design and Management <br />Topsoil will be stockpiled at locations shown on Figures 2.2-]s, <br />2.2-7.1s and 2.2-8.6s. Volumes associated with each stockpile for <br />this permit are as stated below: <br />° Central Facilities Area - 133,030 bank cubic Yards <br />o Refuse Disposal Area - 35,320 bank cubic yards <br />° Munger Canyon Road - 2,240 bank cubic yards <br />Topsoil salvage calculations are shown in Table 4.4-8s. Stockpile <br />• heights will vary with sidesiopes to be 2 horizontal to 1 <br />vertical. <br />2/16/89 <br />
