The slope of the affected area, as shown on the SCS
soils map are from 3 to 8 per cent on top of the ridge and
moderately steep to steep on the sides of the ridge. Maximum
slope is 30~.
EXHIBIT E - RECLAMATION PLAN
1. This is acceptible to Pueblo Paving.
OTHER INFORMATION
1. No vegetation will be removed from the ridge flanks below
the level of the pit floor. The pit floor will be virtually
level so runoff should not be so rapid as to cause severe erosion.
2. We will contact Fred Hinman at the Durango Office of the
State Health Dept.
3. Jim Schmieding is in receipt of an executed bond in the
amount of $25,000. Pueblo Paving will submit another bond for
$2,500. Upon receipt of the $2,500 bond, Jim has agreed to return
the $25,000 bond to Pueblo Paving.
As I mentioned in our conversation, we expect to have an
aerial photograph of the Zilletti Pit made on Dec. 28, 1980. I
will of course submit this to you when we receive it.
Your truly,
/~ ^ ~~
Scott E.~hnson
SEJ/ljw
