~~ ~ ~y 1-~~® EXHIBIT "C„
NOlI 0 7 2006
Division of Reclamation,
Mining and Safety
Mining Plan
6.3.3 The Mining Plan for the Morgan Gravel Pit is as follows (Please also see Mining
Plan"Map in Exhibit "E"):
This will be a typical open pit gravel mine located on an upland terrace gravel deposit.
(a) All times in the timetable are dependent upon market conditions. The
mining timetable is as follows. From the time of startup in the fall of 2006 the
operation should take five (5) to seven (7) years.
(b) The topsoil in the site is two (2"} to four (6°} inches deep.
(c) The overburden is 8" to 1' foot thick. This material will be used to slope the
pit sides to a 3:1 slope.
(d) The depth of the deposit is 20' to 30' feet deep.
(e) The road from the gate to the processing area is expected to be 20'-24' feet
wide and lead to the processing area. It will also service the Equipment
Storage area where Morgan Excavation Equipment will be stored out of public
view.
(f) The size of area that will be worked at any one time will not exceed the
permit area. The area to be disturbed at one time depends on the market
conditions and may be as large as the entire 110 permit boundary area.
(g) The road from the gate to the processing area is expected to be 20'-24' feet
wide and lead to the processing area.
