• Marr Company <br />Attn: Joe Putnam <br />3 Park Central, Suite 445 <br />1515 Arapahoe <br />Denver, Colorado 80202 <br />The owner of the surface and subsurface on the land to the east is the State of Colorado and the <br />Bureau of Land Management. <br />The owner of the surface and subsurface on the lands to the south and to the west is the Bureau of <br />land Management. <br />(8) The name of the mine is the Canadian Strip 1\4ine. The MSI-IA Identification Number is OS-02661. <br />(9) Slurco is presently operating the Canadian Strip Mine under Permit C-31-026. Slurco does not <br />control any lands, interests in lands, options, or pending bids on interests held or made for lands <br />which are wntiguous to the area covered by the permit. <br />2.03.5 Compliance Information <br />• (1) (a) and (b) Neither Slurco nor any of its subsidiaries, affiliates or persons controlled by or under <br />common control with it, has had a mining permit Cor surface coal mining operations suspended or <br />revoked within the last five (5) years. Nor have any of such entities forfeited a mining bond or similar <br />security deposited in lieu of a bond in connection with any surface coal mining operations. <br />(2) This subsection is not applicable to Slurco, since no suspension, revocation, or forfeiture has occurred. <br />(3) (a) through (Q Notices of Violations <br />Violation No. C-87-010 and C-37-011 were issued March 27, 1987 by the CMLRD for the New Elk <br />Mine. The violation's ~•ere issued for failure to follow measures specified in Permit. The violation's were <br />terminated by submitting a technical revision requesting re-designation of the access road in question as a haul <br />road. <br />Violation No. C-87-031 was issued July 14, 1937 by the CMLRD for failure to direct runoff to <br />stabilized channels in the coal processing waste area at the New Elk Mine.
