The settlement or destination <br />analysis Sndicates which communities are home to WSCC's workforce. One method <br />consisted of computerizing the October, 1980, payroll zipcode addresses of <br />workers. The resulting settlement patterns of workers are arrayed in Table I- <br />2. The second method consisted of doing an on-site survey of Hawk's Nest <br />employees. The survey instrument (Appendix A) requested information on <br />settlement and migration patterns. The two methods yielded similar settlement <br />patterns; that is, the survey results were sot statlatically different than <br />the zipcode settlement patterns (percentage-wise) arrayed on the following <br />• table. <br />2 <br />
