specific concerns addressed in this section of the PAR as well as
• the concerns raised on page 7, No. 5m and the Approximate Original
Contour - Williams Fork Strip Pit No. 2 concern within the Jim
Pendelton memo of October 9, 1986 portion of the PAR. This
information will be incorporated into Exhibit 24, Williams Fork
Strip Pit °~clamation Plan following approval by CMLRD.
Until such time that Exhibit 24 is approved by the DMLRD, Empire
Energy Corporation commits to reclamation of the Williams Fork
Strip Pit as described in the presently approved Permit C-044-81
document.
g. The operator proposes retention of all structures in the town
loadout reclamation plan. The Division will require a letter from
D&RG requesting retention of these structures, and indicating a
desire to retain the site for industrial use. A letter from Moffat
CountY_or the City of Craig concerning land use should also be
submitted.
RESPONSE: Page 2 of Exhibit 23 has been revised to include removal
of all structures and facilities at the town loadout.
h. The operator should clarify plans for sealing portals, which
indicates both the construction of reinforced concrete walls, and
the utilization of waste concrete from the site demolition. How do
these two methods correlate?
RESPONSE: Pages 2.05.4-12, 2.05.4-15, and 2.05.4-17 have been
revised to clarify the plans for sealing portals.
.•
39-4
