• <br />Clue; ~1 Ti`ei(~y Silo V~.~~~4~'s\a <br />Colorado Yana Goal Company will oonciuct a caiq~rehensive program of monitoring <br />water quantity and quality thivughoat the term of the mining anti reclamation <br />permit. This monitoring plan is designed to detect change in the hydrologic <br />balance and to define the effects of mini-xg on aquifer and stream systems. <br />Monitoring data collected fmn the permit and adjacent area will be ~T~*+p*+tly <br />recorded and filed at the ~nY offices. Reportirg of effluent water quality <br />will be aooa~Qlished per the ~,;*+4+p*+t~ of NPDES Permits CO-0027154 and 00- <br />0036021. The Disc3~arge Monitoring Fdeports will be sutanitted to the 0olorado <br />ipT ,tma„r of Health, Water Quality 0ontrol Division. In addition, 0olorado <br />Yampa Coal ~Y will sukmit the applicable hydrologic data wllected <br />thru~ghout the course of the water year to the Colorado Mined Land reclamation <br />Division in an annual report. The report will be sutnnitted by January 31st of <br />the following year. <br />• <br />The plan for monitoring Mine 3 oan,ists of four major cm~onents: <br />1. Glrolud Water Monitorirg <br />2. Surface Water Moa~itnring <br />3. Effluent Monitorirg (NPDES sites) <br />4. Spoil Spring Monitoring <br />• <br />Designated monitoring sites are listed in Table A, Hydrologic Monitorirg Sites <br />and are shown oa Map 4b, Hydrologic Monitoring Program. Zhe timetable for <br />monitoring is described on Table A as well.
