<br />i~ <br /> <br /> <br />COMMERCIAL TESTING & ENGIN EE RING CO. <br />DISCUSSION <br />According to Trapper Mining's permit-to-discharge (CO-0032115), an acute- WET test is failed <br />whenever [he LCso, which represents an estimate of the effluent concentration which is lethal to <br />>0% of the test organisms in the time prescribed by the test, is found to be less than or equal to <br />100% effluent. <br />By this definition, the results of this bioassay indicate that [he effluent from Trapper Mining's <br />Craig Mine outfall 001 is not acutely toxic to fathead minnow or Ceriodaphnia dubia survival. <br />Therefore, Trapper Mining Inc. is in compliance with the acute WET portion of its Colorado <br />State Discharge Permit for the first quarter of 2003. <br />4 <br />-526 <br />
