Mr. Edward C. Ttosar_ _ -2- November 15, 1983
~ ~ The Division has no problems with the operator's desire to use
sprays or not use sprays. However, the Division requests IRI to notify
:~(~ this office if in fact the sprays are used. If sprays are used, then the
~6r operator must take the necessary steps and precautions to insure the
~ sprays to not discharge the water off-site (ie.: water discharged by
means other than evaporation).
The permit application text specifies the various waste streams, as
addressed in your correspondence of November 9, 1983, will be disposed of
in an approved landfill. Please specify the landfill to be used by IRI.
/7~~ The reason for this request is that in the unlikely event the State of
Colorado must reclaim the site (because IRI is unable to), the specific
landfill that will accommodate IRI's various waste streams must be known.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact tYris office.
S' erely,f~
V~
Peter .O'Connor _
Reclamation Specialist
PVOC/tlh
cc: Mr. Eric Hinzel
Doc. No. 7023
