The signed pages are enclosed
6.1-3 The RoacJ Department used approximately seventy to ninety
thousand cubic yards of gravel per year average. Depending
' on the extent and location of work and on budger considerations,
a specific pit may be utilized for unplanned projects. However,
based on a total reserve volume of approximately 802,000
cubic yards, it is predicted that all existing County Pits
will be depleted in ten years. New pits or expansion of
existing pits will have to be explored within about five years.
.-
It should be noted that the temporary cessation rules do not
apply as there is continuing, albiet, low volume, usage at each
site, the level depending on the maintenance workload.
4 Depth o1` mining will occur as stated in the following Table:
Pit Depth of Future Mining Reference
' `, A.2 Road Pit 15 to 20 feet .~ ~ ~ existing pit floor
Divide f;oad Pit 10 to 14 feet top of bank
Lumsden Canyon ',:
Pit 20 to 25 feet top of bank
Two Roacl Pit No Additional Mining
Wright Draw Pit 10 feet (see response 11.8.1)
*Ref'erence, Exhibit C, Mining Plan Map
f 5. -The access road.acreage has not been included in the permitted
acreage.
