Pre-
existing roads used by the ranch operation wilt remain.
(e) Other Features
Sediment control features including ditches, berms, and settling azeas will remain if
they are needed. These sediment control features aze anticipated to occupy a small
portion of the affected area.
(2) Estimate of Reclamation Costs
As described above, available portions of the pit floor will be reclaimed as mining
progresses. However, should no reclamation be done until the pit has been mined out,
the costs of reclaiming the entire affected area, 9.6 acres-not just the pit floor,
have been estimated here. The cost of removing plant growth medium prior to
• disturbance is accommodated within the costs of mining.
