<br /> <br />Exhibit B -Site Description <br />1. The Quarry Site is located on the Southwesterly side <br />{sloped 30~ to 50~) of Missouri Hill at an elevation of <br />11,600 feet. The soil type is the 'Rock Outcrop - Bross <br />Association'. About 60 percent of the association at this <br />site is Rock Outcrop and 40 percent is the thin glacial <br />deposited Bross soil. <br />The vegetation is alpine grasses and forties. <br />The average annual precipitation is 20 to 30 inches, <br />average annual soil temperature is 30° F., average soil <br />temperature in summer is 92°, and the frost free season <br />is less than 10 days. Bross soils are used for summer <br />range by dear and elk at the site. <br />No live streams are affected by the site. <br />2. Wild Life Statement (attached) <br />3. Chaffee County Road No. 224 is the only man made structure <br />within 200 feet of this Quarry Site. <br /> <br />• <br />
