Subsequent to that study, the project was reevaluated <br />"Planniny Report on the Grand Mesa Project", May 1987, Rureau of Reclama- <br />lion. That report shows that construction costs had escalated and the <br />resulting benefit cost ratio for the project was now 1:D.fi3. various <br />options were studied within this planning report with similar unsuitable <br />benefit cost ratios. <br />Personal communications with John Neill, secretary to the North Fork Conser- <br />• vancy District, indicate that the Grand Mesa Canal will not he constructed, <br />Dn Page 4 of the report, the Statement is made that four ditches divert <br />water from sub-hasins of Roatcap Creek Rosin which are not tributary to <br />Roatcap Creek. This statement is confusing and further information is sub- <br />mitted.
