These pazameters will be monitored on a monthly basis during the baseline <br />monitoring period and during mining operations. <br />Potential leakage from a solution cavity will be monitored by instantaneous mass fluid <br />balance calculations and nitrogen consumption, which will be automatically reported to a master <br />control system. The nitrogen gas cap will be monitored daily by measwing nitrogen consumption <br />and presswe. <br />5.2 Solution and Cooling Ponds <br />The solution and cooling ponds associated with the test mine facility will be protected against <br />leakage by a double geosynthetic liner and geonet leak detection and collection system (LCDS), <br />which will be monitored twice per shift. The freeboazd of the dams will also be measwed once per <br />day. Daily water level measwements and montlily water quality samples will be collected from the <br />one existing alluvial monitoring well, 21-3, and the three proposed monitoring wells, 28-1, 21-5, and <br />19-3. <br />Agapito Associates, Inc. <br />
