<br />Exhibit B <br />If, in its operations, the holder discovers any cultural remains, monuments or sites, or <br />any object of antiquity subject to the Antiquities Act of June 8, 1906 (34 Stat. 225; 16 <br />U.S.C. secs. 431-433), the Archaeological Resources Protection Ac[ of 1979 (Public <br />Law 96-95), and 43 CFR, Part 3, the holder shall immediately cease activity and report <br />directly to the Area Manager. The Bureau shall then take such action as required under <br />the acts and regulations thereunder. The holder shall follow the mitigation requirements <br />set forth by Bureau of Land Management (BLM) concerning protection, preservation or <br />disposition of any sites or material discovered. In cases where salvage excavation is <br />necessary, the cost of such excavation shall be borne by the holder, unless otherwise <br />stated. <br />2. Topsoil will be stripped to a depth of 12 to 16 inches and stockpiled on the South edge <br />of pernrit area. <br />3. Trash will be confined in a covered container and hauled to an approved landfill. <br />4. All activity shall cease when soils or road surfaces become saturated to a depth of tluee <br />inches, unless otherwise approved by the Authorized officer. <br />5. The White River Resource Area Manager will be notified at least 24 hours prior [o <br />commencing reclamation work. <br />6. Seed all disturbed surfaces with the following seed mixture: <br />Species <br />Lbs.PLS/Acre <br />Western wheatgrass (Arriba) 3 <br />Pubescent wheatgrass (Luna) 2 <br />Russian wildrye (Vinnal) 2 <br />Crested wheatgrass (Fairway) 2 <br />Fourwing saltbush (Wytana/Rincon) 2 <br />Prepare seedbed by disking or ripping following the natural contour. Drill seed on <br />contour at a depth no greater than 1/2 inch. In areas that camrot be drilled, broadcast at <br />doable the seeding rate and harrow seed into soil. Certified seed is recommended. <br />Fall seeding must be completed after September 1, and prior to prolonged ground frost. <br />7. If any fossils are discovered during construction, the operator shall cease constriction <br />immediately and notify the authorized officer so as to deter-mine the significance of <br />[he discovery. <br />8. Annual or noxious weeds will be controlled on all disturbed areas as directed by the <br />White River Field Office Manager. Method of control shall be by an approved <br />mechanical method or an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registered <br />herbicide. All herbicide application proposals must be approved by the BLM. <br />Application of herbicides must be under direct field supervision of an EPA certified <br />
