\ _ ,. ~ <br />• <br />{a) Ma 'or Disturbance - that area of a mining <br />operation which inclu es excavations, overburden spoils, and <br />topsoil stockpiles. <br />{b) Moderate Disturbance - that area of a mining <br />operation which is a result o backfilling of an open cut, stabi- <br />lization of waste dumps, the leveling of overburden spoils, the <br />smooth grading and the distribution of topsoil or other suitable <br />approved plant growth. Also includes within the affected area, <br />on-site private ways, roads, railroads, evaporation or settling <br />ponds, leaching dumps, work, parking, storage or waste discharge <br />areas and areas in which structures, facilities, equipment, <br />machines, tools or other materials or property which result from <br />or are used in the mining operation are situated. <br />(c) Minor Disturbance - that area of a mining <br />operation which is un ergoing preparation immediately prior to <br />glanting or seeding, is being planted or seeded, or has been <br />planted or seeded and has not been released from applicable per- <br />formance and financial warranties upon full completion of all <br />reclamation requirements as set forth in the permit. <br />Amendments to MLRB Permit Application. <br />Prior to or contemporaneously with the execution of <br />this Agreement, Robinson shall submit or cause to~be submitted <br />formal, written amendments or revisions to its Permit Application <br />currently pending before the MLRB, in the following particulars: <br />(a) Robinson shall submit a duplicate copy of the <br />map entitled "Chieftain North Mine Mining Plan," dated <br />November 1, 1985, which is attached to this Agreement as Map <br />Exhibit D-1. <br />(b) Robinson shall submit a duplicate copy of the <br />map entitled "Chieftain North Mine Reclamation Plan," dated <br />November 1, 1985, which is attached to this Agreement as Map <br />Exhibit F. <br />(c) Robinson shall submit a revised Mining <br />Timetable, corresponding to page 11 of the original Permit <br />Application, which shall reflect the following information: <br /> Acres +/- <br /> Subject to Major <br />Stage Years Total Acres +/- Disturbance <br />1 10-20 63.13 32.5 <br />2 15-25 58.40 30.8 <br />3 2-5 44.38 10.0 <br />TOTAL 27-50 165.91 73.3 <br />-2- <br />
