EXHIBTI' D RECLAMATION PLAN The reclamation of the affected land will be re-vegetated to restore the entire amount of affected land to rangeland. The post mining land is consistent with adjacent land. Side slopes will be no greater than 3:1 and the floor of the mined azea will be at a slope of no less than one percent. compacted areas will be ripped during reclamation and all overburden, excess pit fines, and pit waste material will be placed in a course duectly above the previously mined azeas. Topsoil that was stockpiled, will be spread evenly over the re-contoured site to a depth of 6 inches or more. The site will then be tilled and firmed to prepaze a suitable seed bed. Seeding will be done in accordance with the recommendation of the Bureau of Land Management. Re-contouring, furrowing, ripping and seeding will be done progressively in conjunction with the excavation of the material. A. Overburden, pit fines and pit waste material will be placed atop the pit floor and sides evenly and contoured to accept the stockpiled topsoil. B. Side slopes will be no greater than 3:1 and the floor of the mined azea will be at a slope of no less than one percent. C. (i) Topsoil which was stockpiled, will be spread evenly over the re-contoured side slopes to a depth of 6 inches or more. (ii) The site will be tilled and firmed to prepare a suitable seed bed. Seeding of the side slopes will be done in the late fall (September 1st or later) prior to the soil freezing. No fertilizer will be applied. (iii) The following grass species will be used to re-seed the site. This rate is based on pounds of pure live seed per acre.
