Where Eu is the quarter-to-date exposure to
concentrations of insoluble uranium, Er is
the year-to-date exposure to concentrations
of radon progeny, and MPEu and MPEr are the
maximum permissible exposures to insoluble
uranium and radon progeny, respectively. In
the event that an individual's exposure
threatens to exceed the maximum permissible,
the individual will be assigned work in areas
where the exposure potential is sufficiently
low to assure that the maximum permissible
exposure will not be exceeded.
3. Records and Audits
Exposures to airborne radioactive materials will be
recorded in individual exposure history files at the
end of each exposure or sampling period, whichever
is shorter.
Summaries of personnel exposures, as well as correc-
tive actions taken or recommended, will be incorpor-
ated into the Radiation Protection Status Report.
20
